Lee Young-hee, the first female president of Samsung
South Korean tech giant Samsung has announced the name of a female president for the first time. On Monday, the company appointed Lee Young-hee as the president of the global marketing office of the device eXperience (DX) division. News the Korea Times.
It was Lee Young-hee's idea of using purple instead of blue in Samsung's logo. For this he became headline of the news. The idea of changing the color gave great results in the market at that time. Since then, Young has become very influential in the company for the marketing of one of the most successful products, the Samsung Galaxy phone.
Lee Young-hee started working at Samsung in 2007. In 2012, she was promoted to the position of Vice President.
